Angle Converter

The angle can be thought as a shape which will be formed by two lines when they are showing diversion form a common point or we can say a common vertex.

Definition

An angle is made with the combination of two rays or we can say that these lines are half rays such that these two rays a single and common point and the difference in the position of two other ends of those lines in terms of rotation is known as Angle

Now in order to understand the concept of angle then we say think it of as the measure of rotation, suppose we have line AB, keeping point B as fixed we have rotated the point A to a new position then how much the point A is rotated from the initial position is termed as the angle between the initial ray and final ray.

Examples

  1. The rotation of wheels in cars are measured in terms of angle or degree of rotation.
  2. The sine graphs or other graphs which are used in physics are drawing in terms of angle.

Types of angle,

In total there are six types of angles.

  1. Acute angle, an angle is said to be acute when the measure of that angle is less than 90 degree.

  1.    Right angle, when the measure of an angle is 90 degree then we say that the angle is the right angle.

  1.    Obtuse angle, when the measure of the angle is between 90 degree and 180 degrees then we say the is angle is an obtuse angle.

  1.    Straight angle, when the measure of the angle is equal to 180 degrees then we can say that the angle is the straight angle.

  1.    Reflex angle, when the measure of the angle is between 180 degrees and 360 degrees then we say that the angle is a reflex angle.

  1.    Full angle, this is the angle when the measure of the angle is equal to 360 degrees.

Now when we take trigonometry into consideration then we measure angle more than 360 degrees, here in trigonometry angles get some additional information, here in trigonometry the angle can be positive or the angle can be negative.

Attributes which describes any angle.

  1.   Vertex, it is the common point from which the two lines in between which we are measuring difference are originated.
  2. 2.     Legs, these are the lines which make the angle

When we have two lines then there are two possibilities to measure the angle.

  1.    Interior, when we measure the inside angle between the legs then the angle which we get is the interior angle.
  2.    Exterior, when we measure the outside angle between the legs the angle which we get is the interior angle.

Units of angle

  1.    The degree is the most common unit to measure an angle.
  2.    Radian is another unit to measure angle which is widely used, mainly practiced when we take trigonometry into consideration.
